Jacob Hubbard
My name is Jacob Hubbard. I was born on September 14, 1988 in Oregon and raised in southern California. Raised nominally protestant, I became apathetic about the Christian faith in my teens. I came back to being a practicing Christian in 2009 and for two years was a devout Protestant. I've since questioned those beliefs and made the choice to be Catholic in early to mid 2011. I am also a writer who writes fiction (novels, short stories, novellas, and essays), so this part is part of my cumulative life work as a writer, or even as my personal side project. If you're interested in seeing my writing portfolio, feel free to send me an email :) Why Roman Missal Commentaries? Why the name? A roman missal is a the main liturgical book used in the Catholic mass in Catholic churches all over the world. A roman missal provides readings for the mass, commentaries on the scriptures, and songs for us to participate in the liturgy. The reason this blog is named Roman Missal Commentaries is help keep in the spirit of the Catholic faith. :)
